Picks for Sephora VIB Sale

One of the best times of the year is the Fall Sephora VIB sale in November. The perfect time to grab stocking stuffers and some gifts for yourself. If you want to take advantage of the sale; but are not sure what to grab then, here are some personal favorites that you might enjoy.

NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30

The formula is weightless and blurs imperfections and redness while letting the skin shine. I love the NARS tinted moisturizer more than any other tinted moisturizer that I tried before. While I am always trying new products, this is the one I always go back to. I use the shade Cuzco, which blends into my skin seamlessly. The regular price is pricey, so I recommend stocking up for your summer and fall shades now.

Tower 28 Beauty BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush

2021 is the year of cream blushes, and one formula that stands out is Tower 28 BeachPlease. Those who are not fans of cream blushes may be inclined to try this one. I would describe the texture as a pigment-rich balm that gives intense payoff, leaving a dewy flush on cheeks. I have the shade Golden Hour, a bright tangerine, but I am already looking into Happy Hour to add to my collection.

Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara

It is easy to get lost in the large wave of mascara that hits you when you enter a Sephora, but this one deserves more recognition. Drugstore mascaras usually beat out higher-end ones in my experience. However, this one by Tarte captured my attention because it is a non-waterproof mascara that actually holds my curl. I have ridiculously straight lashes, and it takes three cranks of the eyelash curler to get that upward swoop. So much time getting that swoop perfected, you bet I want a mascara that adds volume and holds the curl all day. Plus, no flakes! A hit for sure in my book.

NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment in Slow Ride or Vain or both!

Some of the shades in the range are already sold out, but Slow Ride and Vain are still available. For Fall, these shades are absolutely perfect. Slow Ride is a flattering shade of soft pink with brown undertones, ideal for all skin tones. Vain is described as a warm brick red that’s a welcome break from the usual blue-toned reds you see frequently. The formula dries matte within two minutes and stays on for a decent amount of time through daily activities. I recommend dabbing a little on your lips and blurring it out with your finger.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder

The Airbrush Flawless powder is definitely a splurge, and no doubt it’s not a necessity for your makeup drawer. However, I will say that it is a damn good powder that doesn’t look or feel cakey on my skin. I can set my under-eye concealer and hit my T-zone, preventing any oiliness for hours. What is even better is that I can layer it on top of my setting spray. I set my look with the Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist, and I tap on the powder in any areas I might have gone in heavy. Boy, does it look in and sit on the skin well. The point is that you can layer this on, and it never looks like it is sitting on your skin. A miracle in a compact.

Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH Lash Enhancing Serum

I have been using this lash serum for over a year and credit it for bumping my lashes up a notch in my nighttime routine. I get compliments on my lashes from my older sister. Let me tell you, it’s hard to get a compliment from her, so that should tell you about the power of this serum. I use it every night and occasionally in the morning if I’m skipping makeup. This is definitely worth every penny, but why not get it at a discount? Let me know how many compliments you get after your first tube. You won’t regret it.
